Global Entity Net-centric Totality (G.E.N.T.) was a World War 3-era organization of rogue mercenaries. Referred to as GENTS, these mercs operated where they were most needed, and their presence in numerous battles is said to have had a profound effect on the war's final outcome. Despite this, they remained a media pariah, seeing but minutes of coverage in a span of multiple decades. GENTS was but one of many different mercenary organizations, yet it was operated with a level of precision and solidarity that the majority of the others lacked.

It is known that their were at least 62,000 Gents in the organization's heydey, with several dozen of them comprising a collective command. They had vast materials and funds(through various channels), and functioned mostly on the open seas from a series of command ships and from artificial islands created through land reclamation(later determined to have been funded by fringe elements within both Syracuse Trust and Hybrid ULTD ((see Diamond-Staves Affair))).

Between 2042 and 2046, Gents aided in the establishment of the frail but substantial East American government, until the rise of the Wrathmen. This led to a chain of events that brought GENTS to an abrupt end. Surviving elements are believed to have been absorbed by the former.

GENTS was founded by British ex-Commandant General Royal Marines, Sir Ian Brasser (KBE), following his departure from Britain; despite founding what was, by principle, a neutral organization, Brasser had rather grandiose notions concerning the fall of the British Empire, a dream he oft considered acting upon(especially as GENTS grew stronger).
